OK, so I created a WordPress blog, and now I'm posting something on Blogger.
I used to do hosting. It was a pain. I don't really do it any more, other than the people I haven't been able to get rid of and my own sites. Now when people ask me how to get something up on the Internet, I send them to a host, or I tell them to take a look at Blogger or some other similar provider. The problem with that plan is that I had never actually tried these services.
I used several Google services pretty heavily. I have some text documents and spreadsheets in Google Docs. I use Google Analytics. I use gmail as one of my main email accounts. And of course I search using Google, and I have a Google personalized home page with all my very own stuff on it. Using Blogger makes some sense, since I spend a lot of my day already using my Google account for stuff.
On the other hand, WordPress has some nice features. I don't know yet which I like better. I might post something about it when I figure it out. Or I might just remove the one I won't use. Or I might just remove them both and go back to my old ways. Or I might leave them all to stagnate into that wonderful of abandoned blogs.
Or maybe not. What do I know?
